Terms & Conditions - Ticketing

Please be advised that cancellations made up to 48 hours before a "Public Run Day" event will be automatically refunded. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before a "Public Run Day" event are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within this time are only eligible for a change of date (given reasonable cause). Please ensure that you check the event date and times for your ticket. Castledare accepts no responsibility for an incorrectly booked date or time.

The Duty Officer, at his or her discretion, may have to cancel the run day or cease operation after the start of the event when (but not limited to)

o Mechanical failure of equipment occurs

o Extreme weather conditions

In this instance all event rider tickets and unused single tickets will be transferred to the next public run day.

Terms & Conditions - Train Rides

At Castledare Miniature Railway we pride ourselves on operating train rides safely. To maximise your safety at the railway it is imperative that:

o You listen to and follow all safety instructions provided at the railway

o You must follow all signage displayed at the stations and on the trains

o You always remain seated whilst on the train ride and keep all parts of your body within the carriage at all times, including when taking photographs or videos.

o At the end of each journey all passengers must disembark. Those with remaining tickets need to rejoin the queue at the departure gate for their next trip.

o Report any incidents or injuries directly to the Duty Officer on the day of the event.

Please be aware that you may be photographed, videoed or recorded while at the Railway. Castledare has no responsibility or control over where your image may be published. We thank you for your understanding.
